My boyfriend and I (in our mid 30's) just returned from a 3 night stay, Oct 28-30 and again on Nov 2. We got their special rate of $25/person/night so $58.50 a night total. Unbelievable. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. We stayed in Room #5, the 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite, although we only needed one. It just so happened to be available so all the more for us! It's on the third floor (2nd to top) and on the end. I did not hear a sound from anyone above us or next to us which was nice. Balconies across living room and main bedroom with spectacular views. The upstairs loft was great, 2nd bedroom and bath, but it had a mounted wall fan instead of a ceiling fan, and we wanted to hear the ocean at night (not the fan). So we stayed in main floor bedroom. You can lay in bed and see and hear the ocean. What else could you possibly need? We didn't use the a/c in there b/c I hate a/c and being warm is just part of the experience. But with the balcony doors open and the ceiling fan, it was just fine for a restful sleep. Speaking of sleep - the bed in there was great. King size and super comfie. Never what you expect so a nice bonus. Kitchen had the essentials. We didn't cook, but could have easily done so on the gas stove. Fridge keeps the beers nice and cold. We really loved hanging out on the balcony, playing games at the table, and watching the sunset Bathrooms were clean and spacious. Showers only, no tub. Not a problem for us. We loved that they had lounge chairs, palapas and towels we could use on the beach instead of having to rent them or sit at a restaurant all day. We didn't use the pool (it's in the shade most of the day), but there is a handy outdoor shower to wash off sand. The property is about 20 steps from the beach and it's on a dead end so it's fairly quiet, but totally convenient. It's about a 5 min walk to restaurants and coffee shops and 10 min to the Malecon. There is a little mini-mart 1/2 block up the street that sells the essentials - groceries, snacks, beer, sunscreen. Booking was easy - Jorge was prompt in responding to my emails. We did have to pay in advance of our stay by mailing a check to their California office. No big deal. A majority of the staff speaks great English and they were all really nice. Housekeeping came daily and was very friendly. We were able to check in early both times and even got the same room for our second short stay. Jorge was so accommodating that he even cashed out my boyfriend's big winning scratch ticket b/c the convenient store could not cash out greater than 250 pesos. (He won 500 pesos on a 50 cent ticket by the way). All and all, it was really an amazing trip and I cannot say enough good things about the property, it's management and staff, the location and the amenities. I highly recommend it to couples, singles, groups and families.

Sorry that we didn’t really get to say good bye. Thanks for making Vallarta Shores a relaxing and enjoyable vacation for us!
Hope to see you again soon!
I will definitely return to this Hotel! The location is great-right on the beach just past all the "Vendors and the chaos" The view was a Million $ one but the price was not. Not a 5 star resort and I didn't want that-we went to Puerto Vallarta for the "Old Mexico Charm and stayed in this part of the City for this reason. This Hotel was perfect! Walking distance to everything, yet quiet. The kitchen was useful to keep our beer and fruit cold and to make coffee in the morning, we didn't cook but it was fully stocked even with a blender(I used daily) All the rooms are Ocean Front. I felt at home here!

“Can't wait to go back”
My partner and I just returned from having one of our best vacations .We stayed 2 weeks. Being able to walk from our spacious "Villa Style " 2 bedroom suite, right in front of the beach, to Vallarta's best restaurants & the colonial section of Old Vallarta was an added plus. The staff was always there when needed. Can't wait to go back !

My trip began with losing my cell phone and Rueben, the front office manager was on the phone to the taxi company and to the airline minutes after my arrival. I was amazed at their service and comforted by their perseverance in finding my phone!!
This hotel is the only authentic "spanish style" hotel on Los Muertos. It is the exact opposite of the 70' monolithic, sterile condos that face the beach. Additionally, it is the only hotel that opens directly onto the beach.
Our two bedroom suite was HUGE. It included an open air living room, spacious foyer, closets galore, two beautiful bathrooms and a sizable dressing room. The space is GREAT for entertaining - good lighting and expansive views of the beach and ocean. We stayed for six days and made all sorts of "vacation" friends at the Green Chairs and the Blue Chairs on the beach (both a one minute walk down the beach). At the end of our trip we invited twelve guys back to our place for cocktails and enjoyed the sunset. It was great to share such a beautiful place that night. We easily could have had forty people!!
One day I mentioned to Rueben at the front desk that I would like a massage and he had a guy at the hotel in minutes. Great massage too!!
If you're the kind of person that likes a laid back place that keeps you right on the beach, away from cars, noise (and shoes!) then this is the place for you. The pricing is a bargain, the service is attentive and appropriate and the setting is amazing. I wouldn't stay at any other property on the beach - ever.
